Brand renewal & GUI design to drive growth in international market

Software / SaaS company Heeros is looking to gain a foothold in international markets. With accelerated growth through acquisitions, its offering has expanded beyond financial management to include PSA, HR and small business solutions.

The Heeros case is a great example of how to successfully integrate a new brand into the GUI design and digital user interfaces.

Our collaboration with Heeros has included the brand renewal in online as well as offline channels, HubSpot development work, and also the development of content and growth marketing activities.

The new Heeros brand became very fresh and unique and reflects who we are. Our new brand promise is Join the Growth Ride, and this is very much reflected in our renewed brand.

Starting point

The Heeros brand needed a makeover. The market situation and growth objectives required a new positioning.

As a result of our fruitful co-creation workshops and brainstorming sessions, we conceptualised a new brand, positioning Heeros as a modern growth driver and challenger to its more traditional competitors.

The project was a true success story. We managed to find a clear vision and to implement the new brand and GUI philosophy in a coherent and consistent way.

Digital channels are the key touchpoints in Heeros marketing and sales activities. A crisp and streamlined interface design, with a differentiating and usability-enhancing colour scheme, makes the overall look and feel seamless and easy to maintain. As the fresh and simplified design language is suitable both as a unifying feature of the site's modules and as a denominator for the materials used in advertising, the end result is controlled and understandable from both the end user's and the maintenance perspective.

What do you think about the new visual identity?

I like it a lot. Above all, it's fresh and reflects our expanded product portfolio, and it's also a bold sign of change for our staff. Our customers have also noticed the rebranding, and best of all, they have noticed our new products and services.

How did the project go?

The first step was to think about what we wanted to do and what we wanted to achieve. Then we chose a partner who could help us with things we couldn't do ourselves. Blink Helsinki was chosen as the partner and led the rebranding process, including all the workshops.

Why did you choose Blink Helsinki as your partner?

We already had some history of working together. During the selection process, we realised quite quickly that Blink was the right partner for us, as they had the courage to challenge and propose new and different ideas. The collaboration was based on mutual understanding, and the atmosphere in the workshops was very good. It encouraged openness and also gave room to challenge established ideas. There were many perspectives and opinions and the discussions were lively, which is probably why the end result was so good.
